1. Connecting people:
We come from India build our own friend circles without knowing Indians from other cities & countries are doing. Hence our objective is to facilitate Indians to reach out and connect with other Indians living in or having interest with any part of Africa.
Inculcating a culture of reading and writing. In an age of TV and internet – the joys of reading is dwindling. Our endeavor is to showcase writings from fellow Indians, bring out interesting book reviews , and organize kavi sammelans (gathering of poets) to revive the joys of a good prose and poetry.
3. Improving lives:
Provide useful information relating to work & home. Indian travelling to African cities are constantly battling to get authentic information about the city. Hence idea is to put together list of basic information about a city that are of particular interest to Indians.
Bring together various Indian culture & businesses organizations to help create the synergy among them. A number of charity work initiated by Indians can be strengthened by creating better awareness.
Indians are known to be very talented people all over the world. Be it writing, painting, photography, cooking, singing, dancing etc – we see talent around us in our family and friends. Idea is to provide a platform to showcase them beyond our friend circles.
As Indians who have chosen to cross the ocean and make a living in Africa, this initiative represents our way of contributing back to the Indian community that has given us so much over the last few years. This website is not driven with profit motive , since as businessmen, our own businesses provides us a far simpler way to make money. This is an initiative to give back and make a difference. We urge readers to join us in this journey with your comments and suggestions and partner with us to make Africa a better place for all Indians.
We look forward to hearing from you.
