Click on the link below to listen to a personal account of Diwali by Linestha Chavan.  Linestha Chavan is a disciple of internationally eminent philosopher Swami Parthasarathy.  Under Swamiji’s guidance, she has been studying Vedanta, the ancient philosophy of India, for the last 10 years.  Swami Parthasarathy runs a unique educational institution called the Vedanta Academy which conducts full-time, three year residential courses on Vedanta for students from all over the world.

Linestha now works for Vedanta World Johannesburg, a non-profit organisation dedicated to serve the community by providing access to quality education on life skills and fundamental values.  They work to achieve this by running weekly study classes, retreats, talks and seminars.
