Kunal Vadgama was born in Kenya and relocated to Durban, South Africa, in 2004 to further her academic career. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Business Science majoring in Economics and Finance and thereafter read for her Masters in Economics at the University of KwaZulu Natal.
An economist by profession, Kunal currently specialises in Africa-centric research in the agriculture sector. She was previously involved with a specialist economic consulting firm before moving to a Singapore based Agri multinational as a research analyst for Africa, based in Durban, South Africa.
Siva Madhavan is a Finance Executive working with a multinational company in the FMCG industry. He is a professional accountant with 25 year of industry experience across India, Middle East, Africa and Asia. His main areas of expertise are in driving business performance, formulating business strategy, driving efficiency in costs and marketing investments with a passion for developing leadership. He is currently based in London where he lives with his wife and teenaged son.
Mr Moochikal (Ramesh) has a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics and Masters in Business from University of Bombay and XLRI Respectively. Ramesh has established a distinguished career in the Agri/Food Commodities sector in Africa for the past 20 years. He has lived and worked extensively throughout Africa and is currently responsible for Southern and Eastern African operations. MDR has worked close to farmer groups, worked alongside government programs, set up and run logistics, processing operations and distribution structures in African markets. He is often consulted by banks, government structures, NPOs and by businesses.MDR lives in Durban with his wife and 2 daughters and enjoys weekend Squash and Cricket.
Indranil is working for an organisation of international repute in commodity business and presently stationed in Mozambique as General Manager . He has 18 years of experience of which last four years have been in Africa. An engineer and an MBA, Indranil has spent his career in manufacturing, supply chain management, retail and profit centre management. During his spare time, Indranil likes to spend time with books and travelling to less known destinations.
