Cape Town

Cape Town is the quintessential melting pot: it is a city alive with creativity, colour, sounds and tastes. While walking through the city’s streets and meeting its people, you will fall in love with its natural beauty, creative freedom and incredible spirit. Cape Town is a city where the unexpected is always just around the corner and the beautiful province of the Western Cape lies ready to be explored across the city border.

Diwali Celebrations Outside Africa

Deepawali or Diwali is certainly the biggest and the brightest of all Hindu festivals. It's the festival of lights (deep = light and avali = a row i.e., a row of lights) that's marked by four days of celebration, which literally illumines the country with its brilliance, and dazzles all with its joy. Each of the four days in the festival of Diwali is separated by a different tradition, but what remains true and constant is the celebration of life, its enjoyment and goodness

Preeti And Prashant Wildlife Photos

The first thing we did when we heard we were coming to Africa was to buy ourselves our first DSLR, the Nikon d90 with the objective of getting some decent pictures. After a few safaris followed by a couple of private lessons with Durban based photographer Emil von Maltitz on the basics of photography we faced the hard truth; we had fallen for safaris and photography hook, line and sinker. Our next major discovery was photography workshops thanks to our friends Swati and Siddharth - both day workshops in and around Durban and especially wildlife photography workshops. To date we have been to South Luangwa in Zambia with David Rogers and to Phinda Game Reserve with ODP safaris.

Johannesburg is the provincial capital of Gauteng, the wealthiest province in South Africa, having the largest economy of any metropolitan region in Sub-Saharan Africa. The city is one of the 50 largest metropolitan areas in the world and is also the world's largest city not situated on a river, lake, or coastline. It claims to be the lightning capital of the world, though this title is also claimed by others.
