Small businesses and entrepreneurs of Africa

The one quality Indians across the world are known for is their entrepreneurial spirit. Fighting on in the face of adversity and all opposition, they are well known to make a business success of many an enterprise. Right from Ashish Thakkar of the Mara Group in Rwanda to our very own Mohan Nair, we have Indian entrepreneurs succeeding across Africa.

At Indians for Africa, we would like to understand more about this entrepreneurial spirit about Indians. We want to understand how to make it work for the development of Africa, and how to make it work for a better world. We want to find how to pass on this spirit of entrepreneurship to our future generations and debate if entrepreneurs are born or made.

Watch out for a new series coming up shortly from two social entrepreneurs who will talk to some of the successful entrepreneurs and try to answer some of these questions

Tell us what we should cover and suggest us a good name for this series. Do you know an entrepreneur we could interview? Are you an entrepreneur willing to share your story?

Let Indians for Africa make Africa entrepreneurial!
